Q&A

Bio

Who are you?
I'm a norseman from the Artic oceans
Where were you 10 years ago?
I went to the States for the first time that year and turned pro. Awsm year!
Did you ever think you'd be where you are today?
I didn't think so, but I was hoping I would still be snowboarding for a living.
When did you start snowboarding?
When I was 11 years old. I was only 8 years old the first time I tried.
How much has your body been through to get you here? What about your mind?
My body has definitely taken a lot of impact. Sometimes I feel a little crusty when I wake up. There has been some pretty big injuries over the last couple of years. My last injury was a torn bicep. Painful for sure.
Where do you see yourself 10 years from now?
I see myself living a more mellow life with less traveling. I'll probably be a family guy by then.

Around good friends.

Mexico!
What is your favorite City, Country and Mountain Range?
City: Oslo, country: Norway, Mountain Range: BC

Snow

While you wait for that next drop, what runs through your mind?
When was the last time you fucked up a trick? What were you going for?
The last time was 10 days ago at Folgefonna glacier. I was going to do a miller flip on a pole and my hand missed the pole. At the same time I flipped way too much, so I did a chest-plant in the landing!
When and where was your last close call?
It was in Whistler this winter. I landed way to close to a tree.
Describe the feeling of landing the trick that you've beaten yourself over for hours on end?
It's one of the best feelings ever. Priceless!
What does FOURSQUARE mean to you?
Outerwear I can rely on in the backcountry. Good stuff!
