Voted Hokkaido’s No.1 ski resort, Rusutsu is only 90 minutes away from New Chitose Airport in Sapporo, the major hub for those flying to the North island of Japan. The fabulous scenery from the drive up and the trails of East Mt., West Mt. and Mt. Isola is astounding and the lightest powder snow is waiting for you. With easy access to unlimited backcountry terrain with bottomless POW, you are sure to find your fill here. Another quick note is that this resort, about 1hr from the famous Niseko resorts, is that you won’t find the crowds but instead find the mountain to yourself, no lift lines and no lines in the pow fields in front of you. Enjoy the white room.

SEVEN SPRINGS

Located located approximately one hour’s drive southeast of Pittsburgh, Seven Springs is easily accessible off exits 91 or 110 of the Pennsylvania Turnpike. While not bearing the most vertical on the right coast, it does boast the #1 Superpipe in the East, 601 feet long and 18’ tall, along with a freshly designed park with some creative features, hits and rails. If you’re out in western Pennsyltucky then get out here and share in the fun.

MOUNTAIN EXPEDITION SERIES - BIG SKY, MT

Looking to shred some big mountains with no lift lines and over 400 inches of annual snowfall? Big Sky, located midway between Bozeman and West Yellowstone, in southwestern Montana (they share the same splendor as Yellowstone National Park), is a short 45 min drive from the airport in Bozeman. Take US Highway 191 through the beautiful Gallatin River Canyon to Big Sky. Once there make sure to take the Lone Peak Tram to the peak of Big Sky and enjoy some of the most challenging terrain with spines, chutes and cliff drops. After some POW shred, cruise down to one of the 3 parks and get your slides, jibs and tweakes down. Big Sky is the mountain to get to when you are in need of some big mountains, no crowds and the most beautiful scenery imaginable. Keep your eyes out for some wildlife roaming around!

MOUNTAIN EXPEDITION SERIES - BIG BOULDER, PA

Welcome to the Pocono Mountains in NorthEast PA. Although not known for great riding, great riders have come up from this area. Over the past few seasons, Big Boulder has set its sights on building the best park in the area and its coming to life. TransWorld Snowboarding has rated it a top 5 Terrain Park on the East Coast of Canada and the United States. No small feat for a Pocono ski resort not used to playing on a national stage! Easily accessible, Big Boulder is located a few minutes off the PA Turnpike off exit 95. Be sure to check it out for some big hits, long rails and kinks along the way.
